Arc Iron Table Lamp – Scandinavian Design in Black, Green or White

A table lamp built around a single arc of iron, with the shade carried out at the end of the curve rather than sitting directly above the base. It comes in Black, Green, White and Red. The arc is the whole design — one continuous bend, no joint in the middle, and the light delivered to one side of the footprint instead of over the top of it.

An arc puts the shade away from the base, which means the base has to counterweight it, and iron is used because it is dense enough to do that without the foot having to be wide. The offset is genuinely useful rather than merely stylistic: light lands beside the lamp rather than on top of it, so a book or a keyboard can sit under the shade in the space the lamp body would otherwise occupy.

It suits a desk, a console or a bedside table where the light needs to reach out over something. Black and White are the neutral choices; Green and Red turn the arc into a drawn line of color against the wall behind it.
