About Kavora
A store for rooms people actually live in
Kavora is an independent home furnishings retailer based in Simi Valley, California. We curate furniture, rugs, lighting, wall art, and accessories from established manufacturers and sell them directly to customers across the United States.
We are not a manufacturer, and we do not pretend to be one. What we do is choose well. Every piece in our catalog is selected from makers whose construction we trust, and we tell you who made what, because a rug that will sit in your living room for the next decade deserves more than a house label on it.
How we choose what we carry
Our catalog leans toward pieces that hold up. Dense weaves rather than surface prints. Solid wood and real metal rather than veneer over particleboard. Fabrics rated for the use they are sold for, including proper outdoor performance textiles for outdoor furniture.
That means we carry fewer items than a marketplace would, and it means some categories are deliberately small. We would rather offer eight dining tables we would put in our own homes than eight hundred we could not vouch for.
What you can expect from us
- Straight answers. Dimensions, materials, and care instructions on every product page. If a piece needs a rug pad or two-person assembly, we say so.
- 30-day returns. Details are in our Refund Policy, including exactly who pays return shipping and what happens with oversized freight items.
- A real person on the other end. We answer the phone and we answer email, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific.
- No pressure. When we run a sale, it has a start and an end, and it ends when we say it ends.
Where we ship
We ship throughout the continental United States. Most orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Larger pieces move by freight carrier and take longer, and we will tell you what to expect before you order. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
