Linen Drum Pendant Light – Beige Shade with Cord, Dining & Entry

A drum pendant: a straight-sided cylinder of beige linen suspended on a cord. An open-ended drum sends light three ways at once: down onto the table, up onto the ceiling, and outward through the linen itself. That upward component is what keeps a dining room from feeling like an interrogation, since light on the ceiling raises the apparent height of a room. Beige linen passes a warmer light than white would, and the weave keeps the edge of the lit area soft rather than sharply drawn.
