Teak Outdoor End Table – Aged Natural Finish, Compact Side Table

A teak end table in an Aged Natural finish, which starts the wood nearer the grey it will reach on its own than the honey brown of fresh-cut teak. Next to furniture that has already been outdoors a season, a new table in raw teak looks conspicuously new; this one does not.

Teak at this scale is chosen for weight as much as for weather. A small table needs enough mass to stay upright when a leg catches it, and teak is dense enough to provide that without a wide base. It also requires nothing: no sealing, no annual oiling unless the color is being maintained, and no cover in winter. That makes it the least demanding side table on a terrace.

It sits beside a chair or at the end of a sofa. Light enough to carry to wherever someone is sitting, which is more than can be said for the concrete equivalent.
