Acrylic Photo Frame – Clear Freestanding Tabletop Picture Frame

This is a clear acrylic frame that stands on its own, with no hinge, no backing board and no hardware of any kind. A print sits inside the acrylic and the block itself does the standing, which is the entire mechanism. There are no color or size options, so the frame is simply what it is.

Clear acrylic behaves differently from glass in the ways that matter for a frame. It transmits slightly more light, which makes a print look marginally brighter than the same print under glass, and it will not break if the frame goes off a shelf. It is softer than glass, though, so it marks under a dry wipe across a dusty surface, and a damp cloth is the correct tool. Acrylic can also yellow under long direct ultraviolet exposure.

A frameless clear block suits a desk, a shelf, or a bedside table, and it recedes more completely than a wood or metal frame does. Several together read as a set even when the prints inside them are unrelated.
