Outdoor Sectional Sofa – Teak & Woven Cord, Beige Cushions

A sectional built from teak and woven cord, with Beige cushions. The cord is woven across the frame as the seat and back structure, so the sectional presents an open, ribbed surface where a conventional one would have a solid upholstered shell.

Cord over teak splits the job cleanly between the two materials. Teak takes the structure and the weather and needs no finish. The woven cord carries the load in tension, and because a woven span has air on both sides of it, it dries out rather than holding damp against the frame the way a fixed upholstered base does. The Beige cushions sit on top of all that and are the only part needing somewhere dry to go.

It suits a terrace or a deck where the sectional stays out through the season. The open weave means a passing rain shower is not a reason to move the piece, only a reason to lift the cushions off it.
