Outdoor Ottoman Footstool – Powder Coated Steel, Performance Fabric

A footstool on a powder-coated steel frame, offered in ten upholstery options. Two are boucle, Slate and Dove, each with an all-weather cover. The other eight are Sunbrella performance fabrics: Cabana Stripe, three Gradual colorways in Denim, Juniper and Clay, and four Pendleton patterns.

Powder coating is the reason a steel frame can live outside at all. The coating is applied dry and cured onto the metal rather than brushed on as a liquid, which gives a thicker and more even film than paint and one that does not chip along an edge as readily. The vulnerable point is anywhere the film is broken. A deep scratch on a steel frame is where outdoor corrosion starts, so it is worth touching up rather than leaving.

It works as a footrest in front of a lounge chair, as a seat when a patio fills up, or as a surface for a tray. Ten fabrics means it can be matched to an existing chair or set deliberately against it.
