Marble Floor Lamp – Powder-Coated Black or White, Living Room

Powder coating is a dry finish baked onto metal, which makes it harder to scratch than wet paint and far less prone to chipping along the edges of a stem that gets caught by a vacuum head or a chair leg. The two finishes behave differently in a room: black holds the vertical line of the stem as a drawn stroke against a pale wall, while white lets the stem recede and leaves the marble foot as the object you notice.
