U Shaped Pregnancy Body Pillow – Full Body Support for Side Sleeping

The U shape is the whole point of this pillow. Because it wraps both sides of a sleeper at once, there is nothing to reposition after turning over, since the support is already waiting on the other side. It is built for side sleeping through pregnancy, when lying flat on the back stops being comfortable and most of a night gets spent on one side or the other.

A full-body pillow works by closing the gaps between the body and the mattress. One arm of the U runs under the head and along the back. The other goes between the knees, holding the top leg from dropping forward and rolling the hips out of line with the shoulders. A straight pillow placed between the knees does part of that job; a U-shape does both halves at once and stays put when the sleeper turns.
