Cast Glass End Table – Clear, Moss or Amber Colorway

Cast glass in three colorways: Clear, Moss and Amber. Because the glass is cast in a thick section rather than rolled as sheet, its color intensifies with the depth of the material, so an Amber table is pale at a thin edge and deeply saturated where the section runs thickest.

Cast glass carries the mold's texture and often internal variation as well, which is what separates it from a machined or polished panel. It is heavy for its size, and unlike a stone top it transmits light rather than blocking it, so the floor stays visible beneath the table and the piece casts nothing like the shadow a solid table does. That is the reason to choose glass in a small room.

Clear is the least assertive and will nearly vanish against a pale rug. Moss and Amber both put color into a room at floor level, which is unusual and worth doing deliberately.
