Outdoor Footstool Rain Cover – Weatherproof Breathable Fabric

A rain cover cut for the outdoor footstool. It is the smallest cover in the range and the one most often skipped, which is a mistake: a footstool has its widest, most exposed surface facing directly upward, so it takes more rain per square foot than the chair standing beside it.

The fabric is breathable rather than sealed. That distinction matters most on a small piece, because a footstool covered in a non-breathable sheet has almost no air volume beneath it and condenses moisture against its own upholstery overnight. Breathable fabric lets that moisture leave. It is water-resistant on the outside for the rain and blocks the sun that fades a cushion over a season.

Fit it once the footstool has dried, and keep the hem off the terrace floor rather than letting it sit in a puddle. Store it indoors when the season ends.
