Round Wooden Tray – White Wood Slice, 19 or 36.5 Inch Serving Tray

A wood slice is a cross-section rather than a cut board, so the surface shows growth rings as concentric circles and the outline follows the shape the tree actually had instead of a drawn circle. The white finish keeps that structure legible while dropping it back to a pale, low-contrast surface. Two sizes are offered: 19 inches, and an extra-large 36.5 inches that functions more like a low tabletop than a tray.

Cutting across the grain rather than along it is what produces both the look of a slice and its main behavior. Wood moves considerably more across its rings than along them, so a cross-section can check outward from the center as it equalizes with the humidity of a room. Those small radial marks are characteristic of the format rather than a fault in it, and a finished slice arrives already through most of that movement.

The 19-inch works as a coffee-table tray for glasses and books. The 36.5-inch is large enough to sit on an ottoman and carry a full arrangement, which is really what it is for.
