Wall Mounted Hanger Set – Mahogany or Sycamore Wood Coat Hooks

A hanger set means several hooks bought together rather than one, so a wall can be fitted out at whatever spacing suits the room instead of at the fixed intervals a rail imposes. Sycamore and mahogany sit at opposite ends of the hardwood range in appearance. Sycamore is close-grained and light, showing a fine fleck on quartered surfaces, and it holds a pale color without yellowing much. Mahogany is darker and more open in the grain, and it deepens over years of light exposure instead of fading out. Both are dense enough that a screw driven into them keeps its thread.

Individual hooks work where a rail cannot: either side of a doorway, up a stairwell wall, or spaced across a mudroom at heights matched to whoever is using them.
