Round Resin Wall Light – Gold, Copper or Black Finish, Two Sizes

A round resin wall light in two diameters, 20 cm and 25 cm, with five finishes: Gold, Copper, and three two-tone combinations — Gold Black, Copper Black and Copper White. Two-tone on a disc means the face and the rim differ from one another, so the fixture reads as a ring around a center rather than as one flat circle on the wall.

Resin takes a metallic finish convincingly across a curved surface, which is exactly where thin metal is hardest to work. Pressing a true dome out of sheet brass or copper is a difficult operation; a cast resin dome comes out of the mold already curved and is finished afterwards. That is why a metallic disc in resin can be deeper and more rounded than a pressed metal one of similar cost.

The 20 cm suits a corridor or a stairwell, where a fixture should not project far into the walking space. The 25 cm suits a bedroom wall or a wider landing. The two-tone finishes need a plain wall behind them to be read properly.
