Boucle Wool & Cotton Area Rug – Amber, Beige or Moss Colorway

Boucle with both wool and cotton in the blend, in three colorways: Amber warm and golden, Beige neutral, Moss a muted green. The cotton is what separates this from the wool-only boucle sold in the same three colors and the same three sizes. It makes the loops finer and the surface slightly flatter to the hand.

In a looped weave the yarn's own twist creates the texture, so fiber content changes how the loops sit. Cotton is smooth and dense, which pulls the loops tighter and gives the surface a more even grain across the width. Wool supplies the spring that cotton lacks, so the loops open back up after a chair has stood on them. Neither fiber presents cut ends here, so the surface does not shed or go fuzzy along a walkway.

Three sizes: 5'7" x 7'9", 6'6" x 9'8" and 8'3" x 11'6". A textured rug works best where it can be seen as well as walked on, so leave a margin of it visible around the furniture rather than covering it edge to edge.
