A tiered glass pendant in Amber, Green or Smoke Grey, built up in one, two or three layers. The layers stack in fixed increments: a single tier is 11 cm tall whatever its diameter, two tiers reach 22 cm and three reach 33 cm, while the diameter is chosen separately at 25, 35 or 45 cm across.

Stacking tinted glass compounds the tint. Light passing through a three-layer amber shade crosses considerably more colored glass than through a single layer, so the deeper stacks give a richer and dimmer output than the shallow ones in the same color. Each tier also carries its own rim, which means a three-layer shade throws three separate rings of light onto the surfaces around it rather than one.

A single 25 cm tier suits a hallway or a row above a counter. The three-layer 45 cm version is a statement fixture for a dining table or a stairwell, and it needs the ceiling height to carry 33 cm of shade without crowding the room beneath it.
