Acacia and Resin Cutting Board – Wave Design, Green or Pink

Acacia wood with resin set into it in a wave pattern, in Green Waves or Pink side waves. The two differ in more than color: the green runs its waves through the board, while the pink places them along one side, so the resin sits differently against the wood in each version.

Combining wood and resin in one board means two materials with different properties share a single surface. Acacia is a dense hardwood with visible grain that takes knife contact the way any cutting board does. Cured resin is harder and non-porous, so it does not absorb liquid and it does not take a knife mark the way wood will. That difference is why resin sections tend to be placed where a board is displayed or served from rather than where it is cut on.

This is as much a serving board as a working one. The pattern is the reason to keep it out on a counter rather than in a drawer.
