U Shaped Acrylic and Wood Photo Frame – Horizontal or Vertical

Acrylic is the practical choice over glass here for one specific reason: it does not shatter, which matters in an object that stands unsecured on a shelf and gets knocked. It is also lighter, so a small base can hold a taller frame steady. The trade-off is that acrylic marks more readily than glass, and a dry cloth dragged across a dusty surface does most of that damage. The wood supplies the weight the acrylic does not have.
