Macaron Ceiling Light – Powder-Coated Yellow, Pink, Blue or Green

A ceiling light in the macaron style — a small, rounded, softly colored form — powder-coated in Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green or Grey. The name describes the proportions as much as the color: shallow, rounded at the edge, and small enough to read as a single object rather than as a fitting spanning a ceiling.

Powder coating is what allows these colors to be flat and even across a curved surface. Sprayed paint on a dome tends to build unevenly, heavier at the crown and thinner at the rim, whereas powder is drawn electrostatically to the whole surface and cures to a uniform film. On a fixture whose entire appeal is a clean block of color, that evenness is the difference between looking finished and looking painted.
