Lambskin Throw Blanket – Beige or White Sheepskin Sofa Throw

Lambskin is sheepskin taken from a young animal, and the difference from adult sheepskin is in the wool: finer, denser and shorter, so the pile lies smoother and does not part into clumps as readily. Two colorways are offered. Beige is closer to the fleece's own undyed tone; White reads cooler and brighter. Each hide carries its own edge shape.

Because this is a hide rather than a woven cloth, no two are identical. The outline is irregular, pile density varies slightly from the center outward, and the leather backing keeps a natural give. Wool sheds dirt well on its own but does not tolerate soaking, so a sheepskin is worked with a brush and surface cleaning rather than put through a wash.

Thrown over a chair back or a stool seat, a lambskin does its work at small scale: one soft surface in a room otherwise made of hard ones. Across a bench or the end of a bed it stays put by its own weight.
