Hand Knotted Wool & Cotton Area Rug – Cream or Olive Colorway

The cotton foundation is what makes a range this wide practical: it is dimensionally stable enough that a three-foot runner and a fifteen-foot room rug hold the same proportions in their pattern rather than one appearing stretched against the other. Wool takes the wear on top, and because every tuft is knotted rather than fixed to a backing, a runner from this design wears at the same rate as the large pieces.

Cream is the lighter of the two colorways, Olive the muted green. Running a single colorway through a hallway and on into the rooms it connects is the usual reason to buy across this many sizes at once.
